Deburr Your Fuel Tank

Deburr Your Fuel Tank

Taking the time to remove sharp edges can help you avoid a nasty cut

If you do your own maintenance we recommend removing the sharp edges on your fuel tank. The stamped Titanium components the tank is constructed from normally have some really sharp edges, taking some time to remove these edges with some wet and dry paper or aluminum oxide cloth roll can help you avoid getting cut.

Just don’t leave it until you have to take the tank off at race while you are in a hurry

You can see the sharp edges in the picture.

Please keep in mind that many of the breakages and  wear subjects in this blog are things that a pro rider might see but the average rider may never encount
